Hey Queen! We're so glad you are here to learn more about us! Racquelle Weaver, owner of Coretha's Closet wears many hats. From cancer survivor, published author, HR Professional by day, and entrepreneur any time in between she is the epitome of resilience. Being all these things is the very reason she began Purposely Polished Boutique.

Coretha's Closet (formally known as Purposely Polished Boutique) was founded in July of 2020 to inspire women to be unapologetically themselves in every stage of their life. Whether being a busy mom or entrepreneur wearing many hats, or a woman choosing to walk in her purpose and look good doing it... you can be dressed well on purpose for any occasion. In life, Racquelle faced many changes and she learned what it means to look good and feel good. We offer pieces that are both sophisticated and simple yet significant to get you through the best moments in life and ensure you look good even in every day transitions.

We changed the name of this boutique after the passing of the grandmother of owner, Racquelle Weaver. She passed on April 8th, 2022. Her name was Coretha Bogier. She was the woman, the wife, mother, grandmother and first lady of the Original Tabernacle of Prayer in Goldsboro, NC. She was the best dressed sophisticated woman Racquelle knew. She was the very reason Racquelle's love for clothing began. After many shopping dates for school, church services, conferences and life events it was the way to connect as grandmother and granddaughter. A woman never forgets the love of a loving grandmother so the name change was a no brainer. We honor her legacy by doing what she loved to do with each woman she raised.
